Why Leadership?

Some people hear about what I do or see that my website says Leadership, Pilgrimage, Revelry and ask,

“Why Leadership? How does leadership fit with what you do?”

The power of leadership is that it brings out the best in people toward goals that grow from shared values.

Leaders turn vision into reality and help the people around them become their deepest, truest selves. Leaders are authentic and  open, and create authentic community. Through their communities, leaders engage the rest of the world. Leaders establish an environment that nurtures community and develops new ways to put values and vision into practice.

Leadership is essential to what I do at StrategicMonk. Each of us can become a leader who brings out the best in others and builds community.

My own leadership owes a great deal to the leaders who have helped bring out the best in me. They have shown me how to develop the skills included in leadership, and have encouraged me  recognize and appreciate who I really am.

I work with people who want to become the leaders they were meant to be. Each is learning and growing in specific ways; each is facing personal challenges.

Each of them, and the organizations in which they lead, are remembering who they are. They share the story of where they have been so far, and their leadership helps each person contribute to the next chapter in the story.

Their leadership determines where the story goes next.

I help people become leaders who connect with the true selves of the people around them, turning their values and vision into meaningful goals and tangible results, facing their fears and building their story.

Whose leadership is helping you gain insight and wisdom today?

How are you sharing your deepest, truest self today?

    Greetings!

    Today I am encouraged by your article that confirms there are like-minded people in the world. It is often like finding the perfect pair of shoes, you may have to try a few pair before you find the ones that work for you. I continue to be willing to invest in others as I desire the same.

    Ultimately my world desire is that we are all able to share our strengths and enrich our weaknesses through effective communication, human compassion, and a desire to increase.

    Today I am sharing my truest self by being as respectful and honest as possible as I articulate my determination for positive change. I love saying please and thank you and reminding others what shines about them. You can always hug someone with kind words and it doesnt cost a thing!

    Thank you for sharing and connecting via twitter. This way I will never miss GOOD teaching!

    All the best,
    @AllisonSmiles
