Have We Gotten Our Month’s Worth?

Have We Gotten Our Month’s Worth? July 30, 2015

There is only a day or two left in the month. Has it been a good month for you? Have you gotten your month’s worth?

There is still time, if you are one of those people motivated by deadlines. We can accomplish a good deal when time is running out and the pressure is building. There may be a project or two we have been working on diligently all month, or longer.

For many of us, it might be more effective to turn our attention forward. The best use of today and tomorrow may be to plan and prepare for next month.

There are twelve months in a year. We are nearly seven down, five to go. This year is more than half gone. If we are using our year well, it might make sense if we are more than halfway through our work for the year. How are we doing?

Looking back to January, which months have been best for us so far? What are our greatest accomplishments, and when did we accomplish them? What are your highlights?

Which months could have been better for us? If you could, which month would you have skipped altogether, or exchanged for another?

What month has taught us the most significant lessons so far this year?

Are we seven-twelfths of the way to where we would like to be at the end of the year? Do we need to adjust our goals and expectations for this year? Are there ways we can do something differently to help us get where we want to go?

Each month has its own value and importance, part of our journey for this year.

How can we use the next few months more wisely?

Where would we like to be in five months or so?
