How do we begin each day to create healthy change and address the challenges of our lives? How do we even start to face the difficulties threatening to overwhelm us and our ability to respond?

Christine Marie Mason begins by bringing people together to tell their stories. In her book, Indivisible, her first step is sharing her own story.

We each experience the world from our own unique perspective. Much of the hardest work we do is learning how to appreciate life from other perspectives.

Christine’s story is powerful. She draws us into her personal, dramatic perspective. She shares how the loss of her mother in her childhood shaped her view of the people around her. We listen, and hear the resilience, courage, and independent spirit she inherited from her mother.

Christine Marie Mason has been a leader in the tech sector for over twenty years. Indivisible, though, is more about how the aspects of her life fit together than about business. Christine writes with deep insight about her passion for justice, her spirituality, her love for her family. We read about her work with prison inmates, her conversations with strangers, her hopes for the future.

Christine’s life is Indivisible.

I can identify with what Christine has experienced. Born a Midwestern who now lives in California, I have worked toward restorative justice. Raised with tangible, often unspoken, values, I strive to put my own core values into practice. But our connection is deeper than those surface similarities.

We listen to each other’s stories and experience the world in new ways, beginning to see possibilities. Indivisible shares the spark of change and growth.

How do the aspects of our story fit together to become indivisible?

Where will we begin today to create healthy change and address the challenges of our lives?
